Change :A New Perspective

People With Menial Jobs Having Great Thinking

A security guard is a person who brings a smile on our faces. Amit Kumar Pandey is a person who is from Siwan district, Bihar. He aimed to be a doctor in life but the crisis in the family made him helpless and had diverted him from his goal but he resiliently worked hard to earn a living. He is a security guard of the Shree Radha Apartment located in Dwarka Sector 9.
Excerpts from his interview with Shivam Bajaj:

Shivam Bajaj -What is the best thing you like while you are on duty?

Amit Kumar Pandey -While I am on my duty I like to greet people who visit society and also like to socialize with people.
I like kids and often pass time playing with them. According to me “We should try and enjoy everything we are doing.”

SB-You are educated till which standard and what made you leave the education in between?

AP-I am educated till class 8th and as soon as I passed my 8th grade a natural calamity affected the area in which I live. This made me lose everything I had lost everything including money, education and a roof. After the calamity, I somehow moved to Delhi and struggled to find a job and got my first job with a Yamaha parts dealer.

SB -When you were a child what was your goal to be in life?

AP-As a child I always wanted to become a chemist as my ancestral business was of a chemist and even my parents entered the business. It was the calamity, which made us lose everything we had. As far as I know “Even if someone goes through really bad phases of life he or she should never give up and keep trying at least to earn a living and also live life to the fullest”

SB-Do You feel satisfied with your life? And will you like to study more if you were given a chance or you are happy with what you are at present?

AP-I am happy with my life but I am not satisfied because according to me “When a person says he is satisfied with his life, his mind not only gets limited to fewer options but also can never broaden up his thought process.
Even if a person gets a good job and is successful in earning a good amount of money he/she should keep trying more and more.

Yes, I will study if i would get a chance. I have 8 brothers and sisters in the family and each one of them is earning but less so I want to study more so i can just not earn a good amount of money but also to be a very good human being and one should always be studying as it is very important.

SB-What according to you is the duty of a guard?

AP-What i feel is that my duty being a security guard is to prevent the conflicts in the society, distribute the letters, prevent any wrong person entering the society, helping people in finding their lost objects etc. or helping the people in whichever way possible.
I being a guard enjoy doing my duty and perform it sincerely.

SB-Tell me something that have learned from life?

AP- I have learned that never trust a wrong person in life and never be disrespectful to ladies and always accept what life gives you and be happy. “Never cheat a person
and be happy and honest is my motto of life.”
What i feel is that every experience in life gives us a teaching.

After Conducting an Interview with him i understood his perspective of life & I salute him and i hope more and more people will develop the same positive perspective of life and bring a change in the society.

Mobile Media: A New Member Of Modern technology and its contribution to E-Learning

vIntroduction

The Information and Communication Technology witnessed a remarkable growth in the second half of the past century and in the recent years the delivery of education along with the world of professionalism has seen a rapid transformation on the impact of this technology.

Higher Learning used to be a field reserved for a few who got access to the high towers but nowadays education is gradually thrown open with unlimited possibilities for everyone.

vThe Modern Approach

Educational technology is the effective use of technological tools in learning. As a concept, it concerns an array of tools, such as media, machines and networking hardware. Nowadays, a tool for Educational Technology which is mostly used is “E-Learning’’

E-Learning is an educational tool used to study, learn and practice with the online available resources for E.g. Educomp.
With the advanced approaches the educational institutions nowadays offer satellite tutorials for students to study.
In the colleges, students specially opt for distance education, which is nothing but E Learning.

As the technology is moving ahead of the modern times, continuing the tradition of E-Learning most companies have introduced a concept of Mobile Learning (M-Learning), M Learning is accepted worldwide as a new way of Learning across multiple contexts, through social and content interactions, using personal electronic devices.

M-Learning has impacted the E-Learning Industry so much that most of the traffic of the information seekers comes from mobile apps and other devices.

When we talk about teacher learner interaction, for this purpose the companies have launched various platforms such as discussion forums, Screen Sharing software where teacher as well as other students can interact.

Most successful examples that are trending nowadays are Coursera-A Free Online Learning Platform, Team Viewer-A software for screen sharing, Skype- A VOIP service for Internet Calling and conferences.

For the educational Institutions, E-learning makes good use of database and CMS (Content Management System) technologies. These two work hand in hand to store your course content, test results and student records. The data is stored in the database and the CMS provides a user interface for you to add, update and delete data. A good LMS will often provide reporting tools to generate and store progress reports.

vSocial Media Rules and Tools For E learning and Changing Scenario\

Social media is basically a structure that consists of individuals, communities, companies or organizations with similar interests, attitudes, values, lifestyles, visions and friendships and in the field of eLearning this structure can be used in various ways and through a number of tools.

Let’s see the most popular ones:

  Facebook
The instructor can effortlessly create a closed or an open group, to share information, ideas, quizzes, questionnaires, materials, pictures, or even an entire page on a specific course or module. Students can freely talk about various course-related issues, questions they might have, post mutually interesting information and generally things they want to share.

·     TwitterIn eLearning it can be used as a backchannel to connect learning communities or smaller classrooms over a specific topic or event, to share highlights, make statements, upload pictures, etc. All instructors have to do is create an account and communicate its #hashtag to their students/followers

·        LinkedIn
This is a purely professional, yet still social network, which has proven to be extremely useful in eLearning. Currently there are thousands of discussions and groups in various languages, where instructors, educators and influencers share views, problems, developments and how-to tips

These are some of the trending tools that have completely changed the way and meaning of education through E-Learning via different platforms. These platforms are also used to disseminate information to the public through apps and other sources of mobile media.

vConclusion:

In this world we are made to believe that internet-based courses can be efficient and ultimately an inexpensive way to deliver quality education, and cater to the vast number of learners anytime and anywhere without any problems and disturbances.

These are the trends that guarantee more app traffic of companies than website traffic.

Mobile Media will move hand in hand with the fastest growing technology and will create, Motivate and educate new people and will also change the present trends for education.
