SEAMO- A New Chapter

Education is a stepping stone of one’s future; a good education can guarantee success while bad education can even destroy ones’ lives. As technology is changing day by day and is also benefiting us at every level, similarly these days there are many well-established companies and even education start-ups who want to contribute and also are contributing in student’s overall and even academic development, these days as there are new ways of holistic development of a student ,one such way is by conducting Olympiads ,So Olympiads are small tests which are designed in such a way that it measures mental ability of a child in a particular subject.

One Such path towards success is SEAMO (South East Asian Mathematical Olympiad), this company was introduced in 2016 and is a Singapore based company which conducts Mathematical Olympiads in many places globally from classes 5th to 12th, SEAMO has its presence in Myanmar, Laos, Thailand, Malaysia, Jakarta, Philippines, Indonesia and many other places and also is now officially in India. Well said, strong roots provide good education, similarly, SEAMO will also provide a great level of Olympiads which will not only help in student’s development but will also help in building his/her mathematical approach towards his/her studies.

Also, the National and International level rankings which will be provided to students will not only boost the confidence of the students but will also will motivate students to participate in this Olympiads again and again. India is a New Chapter in the book of SEAMO, I am sure if more and more students will take the Olympiads then this journey will be great and will add on to the legacy of SEAMO.

I was so happy to be a part of the SEAMO India launch event in Delhi & I am very happy that the company invited me. Again, I would Like to Thank the Entire SEAMO Team for Inviting me to this New Beginning in the book of SEAMO- the new level of Olympiads and a great educational initiative.

Do you Know GST- One Nation One Tax- Will it Work ? All Explained !!!

GST was imposed on midnight of 1st July 2017 which is considered as reform and is also called an as #GSTdoosriazaadi by BJP.  India is a country which has all types of people and also of all strata (Rich, Middle Class and even lower middle class and even poor) so the government's view of this GST is "One Tax One Nation ".

We all know that there are some tax slabs which are  0%, 5%, 12%, 18%, 2, % and these slabs are for different items which are classified and are different for every product, Sarcastically if India was full of taxes earlier  then also India comprises of many people who lack knowledge, as we switch across channels or even we personally visit people, we will find many people who don't even know what GST is but still, they are against this regime.

Sarcastically now we don't have as many taxes but we still have such people who are meant just to criticize knowledge for them doesn't matter, what matter to them is criticism.

Many Businesses are worried and are unhappy with this step but the best thing that government has done  is that businesses with turnover of 20 Lakh or less do not have to register on the GST portal or GSTN ( Good & Services Tax Network)  and Businesses with turnover of 75 lakh have to register on GSTN and if they are manufacturing units they have to pay 2% Tax and if they are Trading they have to pay Only 1% Tax and all the rest GST is on the consumer and not the traders or manufacturers, this is for everyone no matter how much a business earns except 20 Lakh or less as mentioned before. and also government will even bring down the GST in some cases if required as the GST for fertilizers was brought down from 12% to 5% so if the government feels they will bring them down.

If we look the pattern & trend, a lot of people who are protesting and are against GST will be in favor of the same GST in a matter of time, this also happened when demonetisation took place.
At the time of note ban, everyone protested and said that it will have a bad impact on the economy and some parties also said that it will have a very bad political impact on the party itself but nothing that sought happened. Recently According to a report in Economic Times, "Indians' money in Swiss banks hits record low of 676 million francs" ( earlier figures were double )
Just think this type of news is coming after demonetization, so doesn't this mean that demonetization had an impact?

If we look GST, its effect will be seen in the long term and will surely effect people of the country and will also affect government, Yes, this means more money to the government but that government will then use it for the development of the country. But that will only happen if the governments in the future keep the GST flow efficient and effective.

As this GST Launched most small businesses are against this GST just with a silly reason of accessibility and connectivity and also cost of Softwares, So here is what the CEO of GSTN Prakash Kumar said on this
"if People don't have any problem in uploading and downloading Whatsapp video which is entirely through the Internet then why do they have problem in using GSTN and paying taxes, people also pay other taxes online then why can't they pay GST Online which is a much simpler process than any other Tax Systems and is also automated. he also said that a 70000 Lines of Excel data is just 5MB which is equivalent to a 1Min Whatsapp Video so if a user can download that video then why can't a user upload that return to the software ?" He even said that the process is so simplified that the user has to file the return only once on the software and rest all the returns will be automatically generated based on the GSTN Number provided to the user or taxpayers.

The taxpayers (Mentioned in Question 1 ) can register on the GSTN ( All the registration and awareness websites of GST are given at the end of the question and answer session)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now as this Network is just launched so here are some questions which will make the concept clearer Kindly read this:

1. Who is an existing taxpayer?

An existing taxpayer is an entity currently registered under any State or Central laws, like Value Added Tax Act, Central Excise Act, and Service Tax Act.
Existing taxpayers include taxpayers already registered under:-
  • Central Excise
  • Service Tax
  • State Sales Tax or VAT (except exclusive liquor dealers if registered under VAT)
  • Entry Tax
  • Luxury Tax
  • Entertainment Tax (except levied by the local bodies)

2. What does the word ‘enrolment’ under the GST Common Portal mean?

Enrolment under GST means validating the data of existing taxpayers and filling up the remaining key fields by the taxpayer in the Enrolment Application at the GST Common Portal.

3. Do I need to enroll for GST?

All existing taxpayers registered under any of the Acts as specified in Question 1 will be transitioned to GST. The enrolment for GST will ensure a smooth transition to the GST regime. The data available with various tax authorities is incomplete and thus fresh enrolment has been planned. Also, this will ensure the latest data of taxpayers is available in the GST database without any recourse to amendment process, which is the norm to update the data under tax statutes today.

4. Why do I need to enroll myself as a taxpayer on the GST Common Portal?

The GST Common Portal has been made available to enable taxpayers to enroll with GST. Paper-based enrollment option is NOT available.
The GST Common Portal will enable taxpayers to meet the GST compliance requirement like filing a return and making a tax payment. Using the Portal requires existing taxpayers to enroll.

5. Who is not liable to register under GST?

The following persons shall not be liable to register, namely:
(a) any person engaged exclusively in the business of supplying goods or services or both that are not liable to tax or wholly exempt from tax under this Act or under the Integrated Goods and Services Tax Act;
(b) an agriculturist, to the extent of supply of produce out of cultivation of land.
(2) The Government may, on the recommendations of the Council, by notification, specify the category of persons who may be exempted from obtaining registration under this Act.

6. Are existing taxpayers required to enroll separately with Central and State authorities under GST?

No, any existing taxpayer who wants to seek enrolment under the GST Act needs to apply at the GST Common Portal. Enrollment under the GST is common for both Central GST and the State GST. There will be common registration, common return and common Challan for Central and State GST.

___________________________

B2B- Only 1 Return
B2C- Have to Upload Invoices

But still, this system is much easier than the earlier implemented VAT System
_____________________________

GST is a very good initiative and also an easy way of seeing the taxation percentages and amount and this also gives the non-tax payers a chance to pay tax as many of the taxpayers did not pay tax earlier because of the complexity of the systems but now they have no choice of not paying the tax and can now easily pay with the help of this GSTN.

This Simplified way on the Backend of GSTN has a very complex structure in which payments will travel on an hourly basis every day.

Technology has simplified our life so much that everything can be completed with the click of a button and can be left everything on machine learning and artificial intelligence.

The main concern for everyone was the pricing for the online accountant so here are the prices and names of Softwares which people can buy and then boost their businesses and all these software are GST ready

Explained in 10 Points
How will GST Work

Below are Provided rates for all GST Accounting Softwares

1.Zoho Books- 2599/Year + GST
 2.Tally ERP.9 -18000 eXcl- GST

 3.Busy Accounting- 13500

4.ClearTax GST- Free Trial Till September (Check here)

5. Marg -Check Price here

So now prices are no more a reason for not accepting GST as earlier said the registrations on the portal or GST  won't affect the small scale businesses largely  ( 20 Lakh or less)

Again to Summarise this Limit

  1. 20 Lakh or less-( No Registration No Taxes )
  2. 75 Lakh or less -Manufacturing 2%   Trading 1%
  3. Turnover in Crores

Talk With Natasha Jog (NDTV) On Pollution

(the video is at the end don't forget to watch)
.
The problem of Pollution in Delhi is a very serious problem, it's not just affecting us but it is also affecting our posterity.

Personalities are also talking about pollution so must watch what Natasha Jog says on Pollution.
I personally feel that if we are not fit then our improvements don't really matter and we can't do anything productive for our economy as well.

In the past few days, pollution has created a menace amongst people and the society, Almost every Person in the few days can be seen wearing a mask to protect themselves from the harmful polluted particles, we can't say that pollution has decreased these days but yes people wearing masks for protection have decreased.

This all started before the Diwali and after Diwali, the situations were worsened.
A few days back Delhi Government banned the Construction work for few days and also closed all schools but as the situations were in control the ban was removed.

Imposing Bans won't work the only thing which will work and change the scenario is people's individual active participation.

Every Problem has a solution but taking that problem into a political controversy won't ever help
but I think someday and somehow people in power will understand that giving a political "masala" into a problem won't help it to solve but indeed increases the problem.

Think You Know Demonetisation ? Well Lets Find this Out

Black Money, the biggest problem of our nation which is also responsible for Defaming India as a country. but On 8th November 2016, Our Monetary reforms have taken a major change which has shaken not only the entire nation but also each and every economy of the world as far as trade is concerned, and this decision was demonetization of old Currency notes of Rs 500 & Rs1000.

This decision was taken By Our Honbl. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji to curb the practices of black money nationwide and you will be shocked to know that there are approx. 5.5 Lakh Crore of Deposits being made in the banks and it's not even a week since the decision was made. and SBI Alone has collected deposits worth 55000 Crore in last 2 days.

I mean Just think the amount of money collected by our banking sector in few days...if this is the situation in such few days imagine what will happen in 50 days i.e the deadline was given by Our PM to arrest all the old currency.

Modi said in a statement that the
"demonetization process has been on for the last 10 months and his government has been working on curbing black money. The PM said that since his government came to power, it has unearthed at least 1.25 lakh crore of black money and the process will not stop even after December 30 — the last date to deposit the demonetized notes in banks to get the money back in legitimate currency notes."

I think this reform is the best way out till now to get all the fake currencies and black money out.

Few days after the decision was made by the RBI, that they have issue New currency note of Rs 2000 and new currency of 500 will be announced soon.

Now, the people not only had to be in Long Queues just to deposit money but now they also need to exchange them for the New Currency of Rs2000 , As the system widens up and new policies start coming in many banks and ATMs started running out of cash but as RBI was the facilitator soon this problem was also solved step by step , many banks are still facing problems of cash running out but it can be solved.

Many people standing in long queues faced many difficulties but as soon as the new currency of Rs 2000 came in their hands it gave them immense pleasure and happiness and they forget all the worries they had while queueing up for the same.

RBI Clearly said that "We will not run out of new currency notes and we have sufficient currency to get exchanged" soon after this decision of Demonetisation Mr. Modi is till date giving speeches in different states explaining people about the same.

Unlike every time, Opposition Has something to go against with ,this time also almost every party and every politician apart from BJP is against with this step but this time also Mr. Modi does not care about what others say because he knows that it will only be problematic with the people who only have black money in larger amounts.

The government now knows that it will be problematic for the people who will be traveling so they issued an exception for them but taking this negatively people bought lakhs of railway tickets from black money and now expecting the governments to change that black currency to white from them without depositing in banks.

So now governments now have to think twice before announcing any Exception.

However, if you don't want to spend your money and would rather exchange them for lower denominations, you can do that easily. Here are ways to do it:

1. You can deposit old notes of Rs 500 or Rs 1000 in bank or post office accounts till December 30, 2016. There won't be any limit imposed on these deposits. However, there will be a limit on withdrawal. Initially, the limit has been set at Rs 24,000 per week.

2. As per the directive, the weekly withdrawal limit from banks has been increased to Rs 24,000 from Rs 20,000, while the daily limit of Rs 10,000 has been scrapped.
3.The ministry also advised banks to increase cash withdrawal limits in ATMs to Rs 2,500 per day in recalibrated ATMs. People were able to withdraw only up to Rs 2,000 so far. As for exchange of demonetised banknotes, the ministry advised increasing the limit from Rs 4,000 to Rs 4,500.
The new currency notes of Rs 500 also finally hit the bank branches.
Sources said the Reserve Bank of India will mint more currency notes of the denomination in the coming days.

If Such situation carries on then The Black Money from India can surely come out.
Today's Scenario is like :
*पैसों के लिये नाता तोड़ने वाले,*
*पैसा छुपाने के लिये रिश्तेदार ढूँढ रहे है।*
 😬😎

If This is the situation in the first few days of reform change then imagine what will happen in next 50 days. Just Imagine how much cash will be disclosed in 50 days.
and if  We cooperate with the government in these 50 days then the Black money of India will definitely come out and be ceased.
There is no fixed thing about black money in foreign accounts but after this step, black Money In Indian Accounts will definitely come out.

What are Reporter Ethics and Its Impact On Unreported Stories ? Blood On My Hands by Kishalay Bhattacharjee

Reporter Ethics and Its Impact On Unreported Stories

Gurgaon: “The Coverage of Kashmir by the Indian media leaves much to be derived,” Kishalay Bhattacharjee, an author, and a journalist told on Thursday while a lecture at GD Goenka University.

He as a person doesn’t believe in awards because according to him “In the period in which we receive an award that period may have an important story to cover, so the time I will waste in receiving the award would help me to cover an important story which is more important than an award”
Mr. Bhattacharjee’s foundation “Reach out” work for the people who are being discriminated on the basis of caste, sex or creed and the foundation also helps people with stereotypical views.

According to Mr. Bhattacharjee “Journalism is the first draft of history to a reporter should report from all sides of a story and should not take sides or report something unethical”.

Further, in his speech, he told that many stories are not being reported on a daily basis.
He further emphasized on avoiding the practice of CCP (Cut, Copy, Paste), he said that we all are independent pillars of democracy so we shouldn’t use the CCP and should report everything and not hide anything.

As per Mr. Bhattacharjee 1980-2001 was the darkest period in the history of Assam in which there was a Genocide of about thousands of people. He quoted this in order to give the example of bad conflict reporting. He also said that “we are not trained in the field of conflict reporting.”

He shared one more unreported incident of 19th November 1962  when the Indian Forces were sending the 1000s of innocent people to the torturing camps established in Rajasthan for many years without any reason.

Mr. Kishalay criticized today's media by saying that only the news of violence is coming from Kashmir whereas there are many stories that should be known to the people but these stories are being hidden.

Kishalay Bhattacharjee recently wrote a book called Blood On My Hands-Confessions Of Staged Encounters -He says this book analyses the hidden policy of extrajudicial killings and how it threatens India’s democracy. (You Can Buy Here)

During his talk about the book he told about the Judicial killings and the role
of mafia.“These killings are controlled by a defined parliament act” he says.

He being an author and  a journalist, the best thing that he likes the most is Television and Writing.According to him he didn’t like to be a reporter because he defines a reporter’s life to be boring and harsh.

THIS TEACHER IMPROVED EVERYT TINY THING IN ME & HERE'S HOW IT HAPPENED?

Changing The Definition of Teaching

Passion about Music: Has Changed One’s Life

TEACHERS BE LIKE HIM

“We need the practice to rise up and should keep exploring new things and should never stop learning,” said Mr. Nischal Lama, a guitarist cum vocalist in Kavya Band and a western music teacher at Sachdeva Global School, Dwarka.

“Music is the only thing, which transforms one’s perception and way of living. Said during his talk. Music is the best way to socialize among people. ”He further added to his talk.
According to me if some teacher is taking money from students then he or she should give proper knowledge to them but nowadays it's not happening this way.

He criticizes today’s musical knowledge to be in dark as the misuse of the profession has to lead to untrained students and for which teachers are responsible as they disseminate incorrect knowledge to students and also keep time and money constraint while teaching.

During his talk, he also emphasized that the teachers should teach their students keeping in mind that he is teaching to his relatives and should not keep the time and money constraint.

Awesome Quote
Mr. Nischal angrily told, “The taste of Music nowadays has been changed from acoustics to meaningless EDMs, acoustics make music soulful and also gives relaxation to the listener, but unfortunately, nowadays acoustics is being removed from the mainstream culture”.

“I hope that the acoustics will replace the meaningless EDMs very soon.”
Mr. Nischal doesn’t believe in the theory of a favorite student, according to him every student is favorite it is just the behavior which differentiates a student from others and not his or her performance.

IF TEACHERS LIKE HIM Continue to GROW Then Definitely Our Posterity will be in safer hands
