What are Reporter Ethics and Its Impact On Unreported Stories ? Blood On My Hands by Kishalay Bhattacharjee

Reporter Ethics and Its Impact On Unreported Stories

Gurgaon: “The Coverage of Kashmir by the Indian media leaves much to be derived,” Kishalay Bhattacharjee, an author, and a journalist told on Thursday while a lecture at GD Goenka University.

He as a person doesn’t believe in awards because according to him “In the period in which we receive an award that period may have an important story to cover, so the time I will waste in receiving the award would help me to cover an important story which is more important than an award”
Mr. Bhattacharjee’s foundation “Reach out” work for the people who are being discriminated on the basis of caste, sex or creed and the foundation also helps people with stereotypical views.

According to Mr. Bhattacharjee “Journalism is the first draft of history to a reporter should report from all sides of a story and should not take sides or report something unethical”.

Further, in his speech, he told that many stories are not being reported on a daily basis.
He further emphasized on avoiding the practice of CCP (Cut, Copy, Paste), he said that we all are independent pillars of democracy so we shouldn’t use the CCP and should report everything and not hide anything.

As per Mr. Bhattacharjee 1980-2001 was the darkest period in the history of Assam in which there was a Genocide of about thousands of people. He quoted this in order to give the example of bad conflict reporting. He also said that “we are not trained in the field of conflict reporting.”

He shared one more unreported incident of 19th November 1962  when the Indian Forces were sending the 1000s of innocent people to the torturing camps established in Rajasthan for many years without any reason.

Mr. Kishalay criticized today's media by saying that only the news of violence is coming from Kashmir whereas there are many stories that should be known to the people but these stories are being hidden.

Kishalay Bhattacharjee recently wrote a book called Blood On My Hands-Confessions Of Staged Encounters -He says this book analyses the hidden policy of extrajudicial killings and how it threatens India’s democracy. (You Can Buy Here)

During his talk about the book he told about the Judicial killings and the role
of mafia.“These killings are controlled by a defined parliament act” he says.

He being an author and  a journalist, the best thing that he likes the most is Television and Writing.According to him he didn’t like to be a reporter because he defines a reporter’s life to be boring and harsh.

THIS TEACHER IMPROVED EVERYT TINY THING IN ME & HERE'S HOW IT HAPPENED?

Changing The Definition of Teaching

Passion about Music: Has Changed One’s Life

TEACHERS BE LIKE HIM

“We need the practice to rise up and should keep exploring new things and should never stop learning,” said Mr. Nischal Lama, a guitarist cum vocalist in Kavya Band and a western music teacher at Sachdeva Global School, Dwarka.

“Music is the only thing, which transforms one’s perception and way of living. Said during his talk. Music is the best way to socialize among people. ”He further added to his talk.
According to me if some teacher is taking money from students then he or she should give proper knowledge to them but nowadays it's not happening this way.

He criticizes today’s musical knowledge to be in dark as the misuse of the profession has to lead to untrained students and for which teachers are responsible as they disseminate incorrect knowledge to students and also keep time and money constraint while teaching.

During his talk, he also emphasized that the teachers should teach their students keeping in mind that he is teaching to his relatives and should not keep the time and money constraint.

Awesome Quote
Mr. Nischal angrily told, “The taste of Music nowadays has been changed from acoustics to meaningless EDMs, acoustics make music soulful and also gives relaxation to the listener, but unfortunately, nowadays acoustics is being removed from the mainstream culture”.

“I hope that the acoustics will replace the meaningless EDMs very soon.”
Mr. Nischal doesn’t believe in the theory of a favorite student, according to him every student is favorite it is just the behavior which differentiates a student from others and not his or her performance.

IF TEACHERS LIKE HIM Continue to GROW Then Definitely Our Posterity will be in safer hands
